I missed the burning glow of you
streaking across my sunrise,
making my world bright.
you were not there to show me light,
 and now i'm blinded,
and in disrepair, missing you.

i missed the sound of your laughter filling my ears
the cry of joy that shattered my world,
you broke me, you left me, and i'm missing you.
i'm missing the pain that held me in pieces,
